The Hatfield’s & McCoy’s
infamous for insatiable feuds, unrelenting bitter grudges, fist-fights, hangings, hog-stealing…

Some believe the feud began with Civil War partisanship. There will always will be partisanship in our great country.

However, Congressmen Van Holland & McCaul put aside partisanship & championed the childhood cancer caucus. Congressman McCaul & his wife Linda read Carry Me & invited Annette to share Carson’s story in their D.C. home kicking off that caucus!

Then, Congressmen Butterfield & McCaul put aside partisanship & championed The Creating Hope Act as an incentive for pharmaceuticals to develop drugs for children with cancer and other life threatening diseases.
CLF was a very active part of this effort!

The Hyundai Gala in D.C., Carson’s story was shared!

“At the fourth Congressional Caucus Annette was the featured speaker at the 2013 Hyundai Hope on Wheels Gala.

Hyundai Motor Company was celebrating fifteen years of involvement & over $72,000,000 in contributions to childhood cancer research.

Hyundai brought together some of their top participating dealers, researchers, oncologists, representatives of major medical institutions and the object of everyone’s attention, the children and their families that have been affected by cancer.”
