Ellen & Clayton Kershaw

Jennifer & Chuck Greenberg

Chuck Greenberg & Ben Rogers

4 days before Carson died, Clayton Kershaw heard about a boy who LOVED baseball.
There wasn’t much to talk about;
Clayton came over anyhow
and put a BIG ‘ole smile on our boy’s face —
THAT WAS KIND—
Clayton and Ellen showed up early
and stayed late to our event — SO KIND!
SO speaking of baseball, back in 2010, a few days after Chuck Greenberg/Nolan Ryan team bought The Texas Rangers, Chuck showed up at our first foundation event with a pile of swagger, styling his new Ranger hoodie! Feeling the Ranger love Chuck took off his brand new hoodie (good thing he had a t-shirt underneath) autographed it and we auctioned it — for a whole lot of moola~

So, having Chuck & Jennifer at our annual fundraiser,  “A Sunny Place for Shady People”  event was like wearing a comfortable sweatshirt + a whole LOT more~
