We are so excited to announce that after 2 years of persistence and hard work, last week, the Creating Hope Act was passed by the House of Representatives AND last night, the Senate passed the Creating Hope Act as Section 908 of the final FDA Reauthorization! We have one final step to go – the signing by President Obama. This is a historic moment for the pediatric cancer and rare disease community because it is the first time that Congress has passed legislation to address the dire need for new drugs developed expressly for children with cancer and other life threatening diseases.
