In 2010, a few months after Carson passed away from medulloblastoma, Annette Leslie, Co-Founder of the Carson Leslie Foundation was invited to serve on the $6B Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT) Advisory Committee on Childhood Cancers.

In 2019, Annette and CLF’s Trustees, Chairman Gerry McDougall and Director Walter Capone met with CPRIT’s Executive leadership to explore ideas how to further advance childhood cancer opportunities within CPRIT.
In 2020 CPRIT and CLF launched Researchers RoundUp
